Kristian Espiritu (she/they/siya) is the fiber artist behind How Bout Knot. A pinay theater artist settled on Canarsee and Lenape territory (Brooklyn, NY), she is trained as an actor, singer and dancer. After finding herself without work for many months due to the pandemic like so many others, Kristian finally found her inspiration once more in macrame and creative writing. With some guidance from ancestors and encouragement from loved ones, Kristian launched How Bout Knot.
